Bridgeport Rescue Mission (BRM) provides hope, dignity, and life transformation to the hungry, homeless, and addicted. With an $6.2 million budget, 44 FT and 22 PT employees, BRM is in search of an Executive Director to lead the organization, ensuring the fulfillment of its mission and maintaining spiritual, financial, and reputational integrity. The ED will collaborate with the Board to develop a strategic plan, outlining short and long-range goals for the Mission, and provide overall leadership for this impactful initiative. They will manage directly a eight person Senior Leadership Team, who in turn oversee over 1200 area volunteers. 

The facility in Bridgeport can house 34 men and 40 women, (separately) and has the additional capacity for a dozen mothers with children. Each year they provide over 650,000 meals, and over 40,000 nights of safe housing. Coupled with their addiction recovery programs, and their medical partner has served over 1100 patients in the last year, and they have partnerships with Yale and Sacred Heart Nursing programs to supervise high quality medical care. Together they are expanding hope and rebuilding lives in Bridgeport and beyond.
