Southwest Baptist University (SBU) is a private Christian liberal arts university established in 1878 with a current enrollment of about 2,400 undergraduate and graduate students, offering more than 100 areas of academic study at undergraduate and graduate levels through four physical campuses in Bolivar (the main campus), Mountain View, Salem and Springfield, MO., plus SBU Worldwide, an emerging online campus offering entire online degree programs.

SBU seeks a Director of Development/Assistant Vice President to join their Advancement team. The ideal candidate will have a heart for Christian higher education, share a deep faith in Jesus, and have an entrepreneurial approach to fundraising. This individual must have a strong grasp of Biblical stewardship. Living in or near Bolivar, MO will help this individual be successful but is not required. They might also live in Springfield, Kansas City, St. Louis, or another major metropolitan area in proximity to SBU alumni. Reporting to the Vice President of Advancement, they will be responsible for establishing a new portfolio and engaging current and new donors.
