Concerned Women for America (CWA) is the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization with a rich history of over 40 years of helping their members across the country bring Biblical principles into all levels of public policy. There is a cultural battle raging across this country, and CWA is on the frontline protecting those values through prayer and action. The organization focuses on seven core issues—the family, the sanctity of human life, religious liberty, education, sexual exploitation, national sovereignty, and support for Israel. CWA is based in Alexandria, Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC, and has an operating budget this year of $5.6 million.

The new Chief Operating Officer will lead the day-to-day operations of CWA and serve as a trusted and strategic partner to the CEO & President. He or she will bring years of DC experience to the development, integration, and implementation of a broad range of activities relative to the strategic direction and positioning of the organization. The ideal candidate will have served as a Chief of Staff on Capitol Hill. It could also be someone who has served in an operational leadership role with another nonprofit, particularly one in DC or that interfaces regularly with Congress or government agencies.
